According to Lodging Econometrics’ (LE’s) Q3 2026 U.S. Hotel Construction Pipeline Trend Report, at the end of the third quarter, there were 1,094 projects/137,371 rooms under construction. Projects scheduled to start construction in the next 12 months totaled 2,175 projects/246,793 rooms. Projects in early planning stood at 2,632 projects/308,835 rooms.
